Blueshift
Work / Blueshift
I joined Blueshift in August 2021 and have grown through every engineering level since, currently working as a Senior Software Engineer.
Role Progression
Apr 2025 - Present
CurrentSenior Software Engineer
- I collaborate with multiple teams, partnering with product and design early on to build features in Vue, including a feature that shows marketers how attributes are used across the platform and a bulk email validation page, both built by reusing components I’d previously contributed to.
Aug 2022 - Mar 2025
Software Engineer 2
- I built a native Shopify connector to push store events directly into Blueshift, replacing an older integration and simplifying setup for marketers, and built the auth flow that onboards free-tier customers automatically, with checks in place to prevent abuse.
- I migrated 5 pages from AngularJS to Vue, including one used daily by nearly all customers, started doing code reviews for the team, and introduced the Monaco Editor to fill a gap for a modern code-editing experience still used for new pages today.
Aug 2021 - Jul 2022
Software Engineer
- I took the initiative to design and build a unified import framework, consolidating three previously separate import experiences into one flow and making it easier to integrate new data warehouse sources.
- I laid the technical foundation for one of Blueshift’s first pages built entirely in Vue, establishing folder structure and Vuex patterns for the team, and built a library of native form components, validated with vee-validate, that were later reused across multiple other features.
My experience at Blueshift has been great. I work with a highly talented and supportive team of engineers and product managers who push me to keep improving and deliver more value to customers, and it's a fun place to work with a good work-life balance.
